As of today Katherine now has her upper and lower central incisors and she also has her upper lateral incisors!

Update…
Katherine had only been getting a bottle for her night feeding but for the last four nights she hasn’t gotten up!! We can hear here in there but she puts herself back to sleep. This is a huge milestone and we hope that it continues.
She is only getting her pacifier when she is in her crib for naps or at night. I did one day without it but her naps were incredibly short and she got cranky. So, we will continue to use it for a bit longer.
She is madly in love with her bunny. You will see it in many photos and videos. She carries it around with her.
She finally realized she could pull up on the windowsill as well as the couch and she is also pulling up on her exersaucer and jumperoo. She will walk along the couch but she hasn’t tried letting go yet.

Laziness
I haven’t been updating this site much – but I have been uploading videos to YouTube. Here is a link to my page so you can see videos. I’ll try to be better about updating this site again. We are planning Katherine’s birthday party. It will be October 11th.

The video: Katherine was in her crib while Patrick was getting ready to give her a bath. (Thus the lack of clothing.) He was down the hall making noises at her. She couldn’t see him but she would grunt right back. At the end of the video you can see her pull herself up. She is going to be cruising before we know it!

Nine Month Check-up
Katherine had her nine month check-up today.
She is 19 pounds and 9 ounces (60th percentile).
She is 265 inches long (25th percentile).
Her head is 46 cm (90th percentile).
The doctor was disappointed that she isn’t crawling yet. Then he had her sit and then stand. Then he realized she wasn’t crawling because (as he put it) she is a Princess. It isn’t that she isn’t physically capable – she just chooses not to. She would rather fuss and have us get her what she wants or move her where she wants to go. Her back and legs are very strong. (They have to be to hold up that huge melon head!)
